A Story of Hard Work & Community
Manny Guzman is a second-generation Latino from a working-class immigrant family. Growing up in Reading, he learned early that when neighbors look out for each other—regardless of where they come from or what they look like—everyone benefits.
After graduating from Reading High School in 2006, Manny attended Kutztown University. Like many students from working families, financial barriers prevented him from completing his degree. But that experience only strengthened his commitment to fighting for accessible education for all Pennsylvania families.
Since 2020, Manny has served as State Representative for District 127, bringing that same spirit of unity to Harrisburg. He fights every day for quality public schools, good-paying jobs, and a government that works for working people—not just the wealthy and well-connected.
Manny's Philosophy
"Certain politicians and their wealthy donors try to divide us by pointing fingers at people who look different or come from somewhere else. But here in District 127, we know that our strength comes from standing together—across races, backgrounds, and neighborhoods—to demand what every family deserves."
