PA House District 127

About Manny Guzman

No matter what we look like or where we come from, most of us believe in the same things: working hard, taking care of our families, and building a community where everyone has a fair shot.

A Story of Hard Work & Community

Manny Guzman is a second-generation Latino from a working-class immigrant family. Growing up in Reading, he learned early that when neighbors look out for each other—regardless of where they come from or what they look like—everyone benefits.

After graduating from Reading High School in 2006, Manny attended Kutztown University. Like many students from working families, financial barriers prevented him from completing his degree. But that experience only strengthened his commitment to fighting for accessible education for all Pennsylvania families.

Since 2020, Manny has served as State Representative for District 127, bringing that same spirit of unity to Harrisburg. He fights every day for quality public schools, good-paying jobs, and a government that works for working people—not just the wealthy and well-connected.

Manny's Philosophy

"Certain politicians and their wealthy donors try to divide us by pointing fingers at people who look different or come from somewhere else. But here in District 127, we know that our strength comes from standing together—across races, backgrounds, and neighborhoods—to demand what every family deserves."

What I Fight For

Core values that guide every decision—because our diversity is our strength.

Community coalition rejecting division tactics
Unity Across Differences

No matter what we look like or where we come from, we all want good schools, safe neighborhoods, and the chance to get ahead. When certain politicians try to pit us against each other, we lose—and the wealthy and powerful win. I fight for policies that bring us together.

Fighting for schools that serve all children
Quality Public Education

Every child deserves a great education, regardless of their zip code, their family's income, or the color of their skin. I fight for full, fair funding for our public schools so that every student can reach their full potential.

Supporting economic growth for all entrepreneurs
Economic Justice

Working families are the backbone of our economy, but too often the rules are rigged to benefit the wealthy few. I fight for fair wages, affordable housing, and an economy where hard work actually pays off for everyone.

Dignity & Respect for All

Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity—whether you're a senior who built this community, a young person just starting out, or a newcomer working to build a better life. I fight for policies that reflect our shared humanity and reject the politics of division.

Join the Movement

When we stand together—across races, backgrounds, and neighborhoods—there's nothing we can't accomplish. Join us in building a District 127 that works for everyone.
